We Produce
Shaanti has play a key role in supporting the UK’s diverse music-arts ecosystem by created and produced iconic festivals and award winning events championing young artists and international musicians from around the world. Our goal is to produce pioneering, high quality, and engaging work confronting issues head on and to nurture UK talent.
We create platforms to celebrate growth, to support our vision for a stronger future by producing, commissioning and curating new projects exclusively for The Eastern Electronic Festival, which ran for over three years featuring over 150 artists, workshops, exhibitions, panel debates, a digital music show and more across 31 days.
To working with The Birmingham Hippodrome, on the The Playground Feastival, as part of Summer in Southside featuring five unique zones celebrating music, arts and street-food.
As well as producing The Great British Tea Party with Birmingham Botanical Gardens, as part of Heritage Week 2015, Music on the Canal an unique artists tour showcasing five new music shows on a canal boat, which toured the Midlands heritage trail to providing female DJs for Carl Cox and MC Magika 25 Year’s In The Game Anniversary event, to launching the UK’s first celebration of colour The Holi Rave Festival, Digbeth Mela and Brum’s Big Fat Pizza Festival.
While our strong local roots connects us to the heart of community, here we celebrate the diversity and creativity of Birmingham’s cultural heritage sites with a number of bespoke pop-up events and street-food festivals. Having worked in partnership with the Jewellery Quarter Bid, for the launch the Golden Square and The JQ Festival, to producing a Summer season of independent pop-up weekly events at The Coffinworks Museum and The Schoolyard in Harborne. To producing weekly events at cutting edge warehouses and pioneering spaces such as No21 Digbeth, Level Digbeth, Startworks Warehouse in Wolverhampton.
However we have now come to an end of an exciting season of events and we now look forward to launching our Winter 2018 programme with our siter companay Taste & Liquor.
