Celebrate Bonfire Night With Silent Fireworks At Botanical Gardens on Thursday 5 November

Shaanti_taste-and-liquor

Designed specially for our younger visitors, our Bonfire Night at Botanical Gardens, will showcase a dazzling display of diamonds in the sky with our silent fireworks, ideal for those tender little ears.

Did you know the 5th November also marks 400 years, to mark the failed Gunpowder Plot. The tradition of Guy Fawkes-related bonfires actually began the very same year as the failed coup. The Plot was foiled in the night between the 4th and 5th of November 1605. Already on the 5th, agitated Londoners who knew little more than that their King had been saved, joyfully lit bonfires in thanksgiving. As years progressed, however, the ritual became more elaborate.

Taste and Liquor will be providing excellent street food stalls out on terrace overlooking beautiful landscape gardens all day. With a lovely family friendly atmosphere, each event starts with plenty of snap, crackle and pop but no scary big bangs (just some low noise)!

Join us for a fireworks display with a little bit of a difference, with no bangers or loud noises ideal for the little ones.
