A Daytime R&B Brunch Party in Birmingham is taking the UK by storm!
The daytime Bruch concept has taken the UK by storm but in Birmingham there’s only one Brunch party worth its weight in solid 24K gold.
Birmingham’s club scene is consistently evolving, however have you ever been to a R&B club-daytimer where the beats are on fire, the food is outrageously delicious and everyone dances up on their seats from 12pm – 6pm? No, well read on as R&B Brunch is the hottest party in B12!
Leading the way with their trailblazing pioneering shows the Taste and Liquor crew are no strangers to the Brunch scene. Having first launched Brunchin and Hip Hop – Birmingham’s first monthly Brunch v’s Hop Hop party in April 2017, with packed crowds, street-food, 80’s retro arcade games and 90′ Hip Hop vs Urban club-sounds. These parties are legendary and have gone down in clubbing-history for producing some of the biggest brunch raves around: housed in various underground spaces including a discussed cash and carry in Digbeth to secret spaces across Brum. Months after the brand expanded to present the UK’s first Brunchin’ and UK Garage (concept) and The Brunchin’ Festival was also born.
Fast forward to the present day, the multi award winning team (of ex-radio presenters for Galaxy FM, BBC, festival directors-curators and ex-record label owners) continue to make the second biggest City jump to their beat – of Hip Hop and UKG and all Urban points inbetween. It’s was only a matter of time their passion for creating iconic events evolved and two year’s down the line they hit us with another first to Birmingham, R&B Brunch (in March 2019) the biggest gamechanger in town!
In all fairness, it’s the loudest R&B party in the Midlands and here’s ten reasons why!
ONE: FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC
First and foremost, R&B Brunch celebrate their love for R&B. Think classics, current R&B and a ton of sing-out-loud vocal belting tracks, followed by some big-up big-up dancehall and Hip Hop anthems, It’s all about the music and if their DJ’s cannot get you jumping, then they might as well pack up their CDJ’s and be done.
TWO: THE MOST TASTIEST STREET FOOD
Tell me, how can you have a BRUNCH party without any food? And our food brings everyone to the yard as they’re like mans like hungry! Lucky for us, they’ve top street-food chefs busting out the best Caribbean flavours all day. Think Jerk Chicken Wings, rice and peas, vegan curry and all these ting-and-tings, but if you fancy something a tad more American, just ask to see the venues main menu as they have it all going on!
THREE: THE BIG VIBES
What can we say, but they have the best crowd in Birmingham! They’re just too PING and friendly as hell. But what we love about them is that they’re up for partying, dancing, eating and brunching until the school bell rings home. Truth be told, the organisers have a very strict policy on the door and enforce a good vibe rule to all. R&B Brunch know how important it is for their guests to have the best six hours of their life on a Saturday afternoon. TEN: ITS CITY CENTRE LOCATION
Right in the heart of the City Centre, Beirkellar is based right bang smack in the middle on Broad Street, and has plenty of transport services and hotel accommodation. It’s a ten-minute walk from New Street Station, a three min walk from the Mail Box and one min skip to Bindley Place. No need to worry about getting home at night (waiting for a Uber in the freezing cold) as come 6pm, boom your home in the next hour (or two) if your coming in from London, Coventry, Leicester or Wolverhampton.
